Patong Beach, Thailand

Arrived at Phuket airport yesterday around 2pm. Caught a ride to Patong beach and checked in at our accommodation Bodega Youth Hostel. Rooms were pretty average but that was fine by us. After dropping our bags off we went exploring heading off to the beach.

Heaps going on, bars galore everywhere! Lots of men in speedo's Luke was feeling way to overdressed. Still trying to get used to the money over here but we are really prepared this time after Bali it did our heads in. Gina got us onto a currency converter site and you can print out wallet sized converters. Site it called Oanda, very helpful!
Got offered to go watch a ping pong show...politely declined hahaha.

Off to Phi Phi Island in half an hour so gotta go eat some breaky.

Singapore

Was a rough start, thought our flight may be cancelled due to the volcano erupting in Java. Yay for us we still got here. We were treated like kings and queens on singapore airlines, who needs first class.
Has been pissing dpwn with rain since we got here but have still managed to have a good look round thanks to our tour guide Inge.
Went to China town last night to find a meal, some interesting things on the menu... pickeled frogs legs, chicken feet (poor fee fee and felicity), pork intestines yum yum!!
We are staying at Inge's pad and it's an awesome location right in the heart of Singapore next to Orchard Rd, for those of you that know Singapore.

Just booked our accomodation for Phuket for tomorrow right in the heart of Patong Beach.

Off to the zoo today, hope the animals still come out to say hi through all this rain.

Twas the night before...

We are spending our last night in Perth Catching up with family and friends... we will miss you all heaps and glad we got to see most of you before we left.
